The next Bis-Man UU Choir practice is Friday, April 14th at 7pm at the church: 818 East Divide Ave. Everyone is welcome! The Bis-Man UU Choir is open to all who wish to join, so please do so! The more the merrier!

Music and choir are incredibly important to us here at the UU. We are very thankful and lucky to have Elicia Faul Lac as our Music Director. Elicia has been writing and singing from a young age. Her music speaks to the seasons of living, spirituality, transformation, comfort and healing. It brings our worship services to another level.

Elicia is also a licensed acupuncturist and body worker. In addition to that she is the owner of Loose Leaves Community Acupuncture in Bismarck, North Dakota. Last but certainly not least, Elicia is a mom of three daughters. She is passionate about giving voice to the feminine and empowering women.

When our music and choir come together, the entire service becomes brighter. The Bismarck-Mandan Unitarian Universalist Choir has resumed practicing. Practice dates are usually every other Friday. The choir meets at the Bis-Man UU at 7pm for practice. Anyone and everyone are welcome!

The chalice is the central symbol of Unitarian Universalism. It is a symbol of our shared worship and community, as well as a representation of our commitment to social justice and compassion. The chalice itself can take many forms, but it is often depicted as a cup or goblet with a flame burning inside. The flame represents the light of truth and the warmth of community, while the cup represents the container that holds our shared spiritual journey. The chalice also serves as a reminder of our history, as it was used by the Unitarian Service Committee during World War II to help refugees and victims of war. Overall, the chalice represents the values and principles that guide us as Unitarian Universalists, including our commitment to justice, equity, and compassion in all aspects of life.
