“I wanted to make sure that my small children had a place where they would learn about the world, learn to accept people, ideas, and concepts that are wide ranging and radical, and ideas that aren’t so radical but get lost.
[I joined] To ensure my children are good citizens of the world, to ensure that I never slide into a place of banal acceptance of the status quo, to deepen my engagement in good work and to deepen my relationships with the fascinating people in the fellowship.
I’m pretty proud of how they’re turning out and UU is big part of that.”
