This Sunday we will hear from Leah Hargrove who founded Global Neighbors in 2015 to address the lack of welcoming services for New Americans in Bismarck-Mandan. She is originally from North Carolina. She and her husband have lived in North Dakota since 2012 and have 3 children. She majored in International Studies and French at the University of North Carolina Asheville, is an alumna of the North Dakota Change Network, and the City of Bismarck’s 2018 Humanitarian of the Year. She hopes that Bismarck continues to be a safe, welcoming community for everyone.
